ART EXHIBITION ORGANIZED BY THE NIGERIAN NATIONAL GALAXY OF ART IN COLLABORATION WITH THE EMBASSIES OF CHINA, CHECK REPUBLIC AND FRANCE IN ABUJA, NIGERIA.

The Minister for information and culture in Nigeria ALHJI LAI MOHAMMED said diversifying the nation’s economy will go a long way in promoting cultural relations between Nigeria and other countries of the world. He stated this to the Arty Exhibition organized by the National Galaxy of Art in collaboration with the embassies of China, Check Republic and France in Abuja, Nigeria on the 20th January 2017.

 According to the information and correspondent who witnessed the event said that the exhibition will start Art and Friendship Exhibition forum. Also according to the correspondent who said that the Minister for information and Culture in Nigeria ALHJI LAI MOHAMMED who was represented by the permanent Secretary in the ministry MRS. AYO ADESHIGBA said the greatest sector is thoroughly harnessed has the capacity to turn around the Nation’s economy and provide Jobs for the youth.

ALHJI LAI MOHAMMED said the exhibition organized by the three countries had further demonstrated the ability of the urge towards creating a friendship and mutual understanding among countries of the world.

The Chairman of the Occasion and the former Governor of Abia State in Nigeria CHIEF ORJI UZO KALU stressed the need for increased budgetary allocation to National Gallery of Art as part of the measures towards diversifying the economy away from oil. He also said that it is high time Nigerians plan to make money towards this aspect of the nation’s economy in pounce and dollars when they buy our Gallery and Arts.

What were the reasons for the exhibition? ALHJI ABDULLAHI MUGU is the director General National Gallery of Art in Nigeria; he said the major reason for organizing the Art Exhibition is to bring first the American to the nation’s economy and to see how they can discuss the economy throughout the event.

MR. CAVARY REKATES of the Check Republic Embassy Abuja who described Nigeria as very rich in culture, expressed his country’s readiness to assist Nigeria diversifying its economy. MR. CAVARY REKATES commended PRESIDENT BUHARY’S led Administration for its resolve to the diversify the nation’s economy away from oil.
